Coffs Harbour City Council 2018
Coffs Harbour City Council currently supports three libraries, a local history museum, and a regional art gallery.
There is a vibrant and growing cultural economy in the region, which is supported by a multi-tiered educational sector, enterprising creative practitioners, and numerous community cultural groups. The City’s cultural, tourism and economic development strategies all support the prospect of a more creatively alive and prosperous Coffs Coast.
The City’s libraries, gallery and museum represent vital cultural infrastructure, which is complemented by community-run and/or privately owned art galleries, theatre and performance spaces, and a diverse range of creative classes, programs and events.
Project Sisu is working with Coffs Harbour City Council’s staff and communities to craft a forward-looking library, gallery and museum strategy against the backdrop of a new cultural and civic space in the CBD of the city.
