While leadership can be challenging and sometimes difficult, it’s also an opportunity to make a positive difference. Coming from national, state, university and public libraries across Australia and New Zealand, the ten leaders who comprised the CAVAL Library Leadership 2012 cohort did just that – make a difference. The program ran for five months during 2012. Participants experimented with new ways of tackling common challenges and undertook original research. They now join a broader alumni network which includes participants from the previous two programs in 2008/9 and 2010.
